Sweetwater Boutique

Sweetwater Boutique is located on Main Street in Downtown Evergreen and has been a staple boutique in the town since 2009. Each item in the store is hand selected, creating a thoughtful and unique selection.

The owner, Chelsea Treinen, is native to Colorado and proud to call these mountains home. After living in Europe for eight years, she returned to Colorado and took over Sweetwater Boutique from her mother, Cyndi Buck, in 2019.

“I’ve enjoyed bringing my own style and flair to Sweetwater,” explains Chelsea. "I’ve found talented new Colorado artists to feature in the store - many of whom have become my friends. Supporting other small businesses and giving the community a place to buy their products has been very empowering."

Sweetwater features many local products; including multiple jewelry lines, candles, water bottles, soaps, baby toys, backpacks, posters, hats, and a clothing line from the original owner. Made locally and sustainably, these items represent the beauty of Colorado. Whether you’re from the area and want to support your neighbors or you’re visiting from out of state and want to bring a piece of Colorado home with you, these local products will be the perfect fit.

In addition to Colorado products, you’ll find many well known boutique brands. Johnny Was, Kut from the Kloth, Z Supply, Effie’s Heart, Savannah Jane, Mystree and Lush are a few popular favorites.

The best part of being in the store, according to Chelsea, “is helping women feel confident and beautiful. Often times, we are our own worst critics and I like combating that inner voice and showing women how beautiful and powerful our bodies are.”
