As part of a leadership project for the National Charity League, Emma Bosco and Kate Bosco, are coordinating a blood drive in partnership with The American Red Cross. The blood drive will be held on Monday January 20, 2025 from 10am - 3pm at the Evergreen Fire Station 2 on Bergen Parkway. This cause is very personal to Emma and Kate, who are identical twins, as their mother needed to have a blood transfusion when they were born. Their goal is to raise awareness of how important donating blood is with high school students. As a way to attract younger donors, and to thank everyone of all ages who donate, Raising Cane's chicken will be provided and everyone will receive a free t-shirt.
